Dr. Walrond is a founding member of the Sickle Cell Foundation of Alberta and a driving member of the (Re) Imagining Health conference committee. Sickle Cell Disease and Thalassaemia, Sickle Cell Disease. She loves to inspire students, nurses, doctors, researchers, and caregivers to (Re) Imagine healthcare for patients around the world.
